My FA feels that it's more important for me to get enough CI cover than disability ins as the latter is more difficult to claim. What is your opinion and why?

sorry, i what i meant was disability income insurance. no, my FA did not elaborate. i am assuming it's because not all CI makes one unable to work. on the other hand, there could be other reasons (outside CI) that could result in short or long tern disabilityand disability income ins covers that. i just can't decide which has a higher probability.
